Living Life Fully

Having spent most of this past week at the hospital with a parent after a fairly serious medical event, I cannot help but think about what I have and have not done with the time I’ve been granted. I imagine it’s natural that I think about the things I still want to do and to consider some of the life style choices I need to make to ensure I have the ability to live life fully and to continue to do the activities I enjoy.

As I reflect on these things, for me it’s about finding a way to make sure I can continue to play tennis, walk the dogs, and occasionally walk/hike and enjoy nature. Of course, I also want to be able to do the things I need to do, like work on my car and around the house, and to be there to help my children when they need it.

Fortunately, I use the BioBack to help prevent and manage low back pain. I use the BioBack regularly to support and protect my back when I’m doing any activity that might otherwise bother my back or trigger back pain. Most recently, I wore it to bed to help get a good night sleep when my back tightened up at the end of a long day. The BioBack has made a huge difference in my life and in helping me be more active. But as I reflect and I’m honest with myself…I think I might also need to pay a bit more attention to a healthier diet and maybe doing some (for me) “less fun” exercises to help lose some weight.

As I write this, I hope it won’t take a medical emergency for you or a loved one to get you to think about your life style and what you might need to change in your life to make sure you have the ability to live life fully.
